Income Projections   •   Take The Next Step

1     According to manager, Barry Dendy, Lynn Conlee is one of “the hottest female agency managers in all of National Agents Alliance.”  Having just completed her second month writing over $150,000, Lynn is becoming a force to be reckoned with.  Given her current numbers, Lynn is poised to receive her next promotion by September of 2006.
Born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee, Lynn obtained her Business Management degree from Miller Hawkins Business College and her Department of Commerce Export Licensing Degree in Washington, DC.  After running her own dry cleaning business for 10 years, she decided to work in sales and marketing.  She stayed in the field for over 30 years.  Five months before she was set to retire, the company she was working for as a Sales Manager and Customer Service Specialist decided to downsize all “middle management”.  Lynn was left with no job and unable to retire.
2     After being introduced to business seminars through a financial planner, Lynn obtained her insurance license on January 21, 2004.  “NAA was holding their 1st Annual Conference in Atlanta that weekend and it was there that I filled out my contracting paperwork.”  At the Convention, Lynn was able to visualize the opportunity by talking to agents and managers.  She was impressed by the professional leadership offered by Andy, Barry, and Philip, and was eager to get started.
From the beginning, Lynn was awed by the quality of the leads NAA provided.  She realized that these people were requesting help, which she could provide.  Lynn was able to meet “quality people from all walks of life”.  And she was finally finding financial freedom.
Lynn doubled her income from previous employers and “reduced my stress level to zero.”  She has found herself “making more money, working fewer hours, helping a lot of families, and helping a lot of agents be successful.”  According to Lynn, it was easy.  She simply followed the “roadmap” laid out by the leaders.  She regularly listened in on weekly training calls and attended the Annual Conventions and Leadership Conferences.  And she was able to communicate

directly with Andy, Barry, and Philip, whom she believes “want each of us to succeed”.
In Lynn’s first year at NAA, she “always set my own appointments and closed 90% of them.  In seven months I was recognized as outstanding personal producer submitting over $100,000 in ann3ual premium.  One day I was talking to my mom (who was retired), and she asked me what she could do to help me. We decided that she would handle making appointments for me.  I sent her 50 old leads, trained her on the phone, and the next thing I knew I was driving 300 miles per day running the appointments she was setting for me.  My personal production that month was $42,000, my highest ever.  From that time on, it became a family business.  My mom still sets my appointments for me – she’s 70 years old and still setting appointments and loving it!”
In addition to her outstanding personal production, Lynn has been busy mentoring her new recruits.  She advises them to “be coachable, be pro-active in learning, and use the tools available.  Keep in touch with people that motivate and inspire your goals and dreams with NAA.  Stay with the program for 90 days and get through the learning curve, and have the passion to genuinely help families get the protection.  Once you do that, the money will come.”
These days, Lynn stays focused on the continuing growth of her business.  “Alex Fitzgerald once told me I could net a million dollars like him, and not to limit myself.  So I’m going to keep focused, keep motivating my team and help make their dreams come true.  I love this business!”
4     Lynn and husband Anthony have two daughters.  Darlene, age 29, plans to join the NAA family under her mom’s tutelage this fall.  Diane, age 26, worked diligently as her mother’s office manager until giving birth to Lynn’s first grandchild, Emma Claire Franzen, now 3 months old.  When she is not traveling to exotic locations, Lynn likes to spend her free time doting on her granddaughter.  She plans to be debt free by the end of 2006 and hopes to build a lake house within the next 5 years.  Given her goal of doubling or tripling her agency’s size each year, she will no doubt succeed!
