Income Projections   •   Take The Next Step

As Adam Katz walked onto the stage during the NAA National Convention in early 2006, he looked every inch the successful agency manager. His income ring was proudly displayed and confidence exuded from his voice. But Adam didn't begin by talking about his many successes. Instead he spoke of his failures. He painted a picture of a struggling school teacher desperately trying to provide for his wife and children. He reminisced about how his wife Beth saved up baby sitting money to buy a swing set for the children because his salary was barely enough to cover basic living expenses. And as he and his wife argued over which of the cheapest sets to buy, Adam knew something had to change.

Adam Katz was born in New Jersey and grew up in Wilmington, North Carolina. He attended The University of North Carolina at Greensboro on a full scholarship as part of the prestigious North Carolina Teaching Fellows program. From the beginning, Adam was committed to pursuing a career as a teacher. The Teaching Fellows program provided a college degree and, in return, Adam promised to teach for at least four years in the NC public schools. Those four years turned into eleven as Adam worked as a 7th grade Social Studies teacher. But the low salary and high pressure eventually wore down the once enthusiastic teacher and he began to question his career choice. Especially after he got married and became a father.

Then, in 2002, everything changed for Adam. His close friend, Andy Albright, called and asked him if he would be interested in a business opportunity.

Andy said he was starting a new company and wanted Adam to be a part of it. Having been close friends for the previous fifteen years, Adam trusted Andy completely and "was quick to follow" his lead.

The subsequent years have been prosperous for both the Katz Agency and the Katz family. When they aren't at home with Katie, the family dog, Adam and Beth enjoy family vacations with daughters Sarah, age 8, Emily, age 4, and son Andrew, age 3. Adam's loyalty and persistence with NAA have brought him the financial stability he always dreamed of. Beth is now able to stay at home with the children and the family enjoys a lifestyle which allows them to make decisions which are not based on money. Living debt-free is a dream the Katz family has finally seen become reality.

As for the business, Adam's agency is consistently one of the top ten in sales and Adam is committed to continuing his success. He plans to "continue to grow and be an integral part of NAA". And in doing so, Adam is quick to help out newcomers. He advises them to "not overcomplicate what we do. Follow the system and use our proven success principles." And Adam is certainly evidence that it works. Just ask his kids, as soon as they finish playing on their brand new custom built swing set! The Katz family is definitely enjoying the good life.
